This router hasn't disappointed yet - instead of rounding up my devices before bed to make sure they're not always online, I can just go to the Parental Controls screen in the router's UI and block individual devices (your device) from checking in 9:00 p.m. to access the router. Access times are highly customizable - you can set "forbidden" hours before bed, as well as set a block of time around dinner when they can't be online. This router has really helped me build more structure as a parent. This is especially important and necessary given the recent COVID-19 situation, which has seen children online more than ever. You can also block specific websites in the router's user interface. Aside from the excellent parental controls, this router didn't disappoint in terms of speed - I noticed an immediate improvement in internet speeds after setting up this router. It actually has two separate networks - one on the 2.4G band and the other on the 5G band. We set up our devices to stream internet content (Netflix, Revain) on a 5G network and our other devices on a 2.4G network. You can also set up guest networks with this router. So if you want to give someone access to your WiFi but don't want to reveal the secure network password, you can. Conclusion: I would buy it again. The price wasn't outrageous either.
