Review on Auger juicer Kitfort KT-1102-2, burgundy by Barbara Grska ᠌

It was a reasonable purchase, I will order more.

In general, a normal device. Just keep in mind that a number of juice products will not work. For example, apples of soft varieties, or apples softened during storage, will produce mashed potatoes with a fairly moist cake. And this puree cannot be driven through a sieve or gauze, because there is too much pulp in it. Grapes are also not squeezed very well in this device - there is little juice and the cake is raw. Conclusion - this juicer is best suited for squeezing hard varieties of fruits and vegetables. For the rest, if you need juice, use a centrifugal juicer. But there are exceptions: I tried to squeeze citrus fruits - it turned out well (juice with a moderate amount of pulp that can be removed through a sieve). And one more feature: if you do not want to jam the mechanism or break plastic parts, as well as reduce the extrusion of soft products and their sticking to the lid, then do not be zealous with feeding products into the neck. Serve slowly, don't rush. So the juice will go cleaner and you won’t have to use the reverse or open and clean the lid. The quieter you go, the further you'll get.

Pros
  • Appearance, ease of use, price, low noise level, relative ease of cleaning.
Cons
  • Not everything can be made into juice. Some foods make smoothies and purees.
