Here's a warning if you own a Corvette. IF YOUR BELTS SCREAM YOU MUST CHECK THE HARMONIC BALANCER! GM Balancer - SHIT! If it fails, it will severely damage the front of the engine or the steering rack. My '06 also had issues with belt squeaking. Miraculously, at 2:30 am I noticed the balancer reeling like a drunk. Today I'm installing a SLP u/d idler pulley. (Got this belt but it's the wrong size - too big for the underdrive pulley). There are also videos on YouTube on this topic. Replacing the balancer is quite a tedious process, but worth it, not $1,000 plus a dealer bill. Anyway, hope this helps someone out there. I've only heard good things about Gatorbacks, here's what I'll be using.
