I don't believe these tools are built to last, but not much is these days.
The bottom of this tool is wood I tlthought the bottom would be metal for hammering, the wood will likely split within a few good uses.
- i like the way they look and feel, i have used it a couple of times and i dont regret buying them.
- The chisels are not suitable for carving hard woods like ebony or rosewood
