Used on my 04 4.0la Grand Cherokee a few weeks ago and so far so good. This is a multi-layer construction made of metal plates without rubber gaskets. Replaced what I believe was the original head gasket on the Jeep and drove it a few hundred miles with no problems. Thanks.
