You can use this tool to determine why the check engine light is on.

This diagnostic code scanner will work on any vehicle manufactured after 1996. This is a very simple tool but extremely useful when you have a check engine light problem. This tool is extremely responsive and well worth the money. I've attached a few photos to show some of its features.
