We ordered a 6-8 for our almost 6 year old girl who complained that her 4-6 was tight in the shoulders (long torso). She is usually slim in other clothes with very thin arms. At the same time, the swimsuit fits, but not as wide as I thought. The sleeves are also too long and tight. I have to be careful lifting the sleeves up over her arm so they don't pull on her shoulders and then raising the cuffs an inch to two inches, but once they're on they look great. They look great with a matching zip skirt. She loves the bathing suit and how soft it is, but she can't put it on herself.
