Great concept, terrible end product. In general, I am very environmentally conscious, especially when it comes to plastics. I use glass containers to store most of my groceries, but sometimes a zipper makes more sense, so I figured it would be perfect for those few occasions. I first learned that they cannot be washed in the dishwasher: after washing in the dishwasher, the zipper stops working. So, washing your hands, no big deal, right? Wrong: They are very difficult to keep air dry and get dirty easily. After throwing a few away because they'd been in the dishwasher (some happened to be other family members after realizing they didn't work) or gotten so dirty I couldn't tell if I just hadn't cleaned them, I gave finally up. I am sure I will use them for non-food items but they are not suitable for food. Disappointed because it seemed like a great solution.
