I bought this late fall 2020. In April 2021 I had a rock fall. It was a small cut but too big for my seal to stop before all my seal was gone. So I pulled out this little tool, grabbed the big black connector, and it was almost impossible to even pry the strip off the plastic backing. Actually, I couldn't take it off the sheet on the trail, so I headed back to my truck. When I got home I grabbed needle nose pliers and was still struggling to get the black connector off the plastic wrap. I finally managed to get one out. I put it in a tool to slide it into the hole in the tire, which actually worked fine as described, pulling the plug out of the tire. The instrument works, but the plug did not close the incision. I would say the cut is no more than 1/8 inch. As a result, I had to buy new tires, which annoyed me a lot. I'll try patching the old tire back up and see if I can make it rideable. A mate of mine had a plug in a tire for a year and it held up well, but he has a different brand of plug tool. I would recommend looking into other brands. I've spoken to many riders who say these plugs fit them, but no one has this brand.
