Review on 🌡️ UCTRONICS Digital Temperature Meter: 0-167°F Range, Blue LED Display with NTC Thermistor Sensor by Jay Sterns

Measure the ambient temperature on my motorcycle with this thermometer. Used an LCD aquarium thermometer but it didn't last long and was unreadable at night. When delivered, this thermometer read 2 degrees Fahrenheit. As others have described you can calibrate the thermometer which is a really great feature. Disconnect the circuit board on the back of the device. On the inside of the circuit board you just removed, there is a small Phillips head screw on the top right. The blue arrow points to the screw in the photo. I connected the thermometer to a spare 12 volt battery. Turn the screw counterclockwise to decrease the temperature and clockwise to increase it. The ambient temperature in the room was constant and I calibrated it against the temperature on the thermostat in the room. I haven't installed it yet but don't expect it to be very difficult. Let's see how bright it is and how long it lasts in real life. I can put a switch on it to turn it off if it's too bright at night. Update: The ambient air thermometer is installed on the motorcycle and has been in use for several months. The biggest problem is that it is very difficult to read during the day. Impossible in direct sunlight. Easy to read and not too bright at night. I have it on the switch so I only turn it on to check the temperature and turn it off. 1 star deduction.
