Had some problems with my 12 year old(!) solar water heater, sensor and circulation pump must be replaced. good value for money, inaccurate value may be caused by vibration or moisture. Could you wash the thermometer board with anhydrous alcohol, dry it and recalibrate it? I added extra wire (soldered and used heat shrink tubing for insulation) to the power connector and thermocouple pins. If you need to extend the thermocouple leads, use at least 18 gauge wire.
