Review on Samsung GX-SM530CF Cable Box and Streaming Media Player with Wi-Fi (2013 Model) by Patrick Matin

Excellent electronics packaging and fast delivery from this supplier. This is our third Samsung Smart Media Player. The first two paid for themselves in 11 or 12 months by saving on the cable provider's set-top box rental, and both are still doing well after more than two years. From time to time we have minor problems updating the Electronic Program Guide (EPG). Sometimes you need to contact Samsung to get the guide working again, or just use one of the free lists of programs online. This device also allows you to stream our Netflix account directly to your TV or any HDMI monitor. I use this media player with a Samsung monitor that has two HDMI inputs, so I can easily use one device as a TV or computer monitor. This media player's browser functionality is terribly broken, but that's not what it was designed for, replacing a cable company's monthly set-top box. I highly recommend this device and I hope Samsung will continue to release the product.
