Review on 🎨 72 Professional Watercolor Pencils with 2 x 50 Page Drawing Pad: Vibrant Colors for Coloring Books & Artistic Creations by Alicia White

Very poor quality, crumbly pens. Some are even broken.

These watercolor pencils didn't convince me at all! I really love wax based pencils but they are nowhere near this quality. When my box arrived I couldn't wait to try it out. But when I was rummaging through the box, three of the pencils broke the stems. I always use a sharp, good manual sharpener for watercolor pencils because they are more fragile than regular colored pencils. These pens are beyond fragile. As I said, 3 had broken cores. As careful as I was with the sharpener, it didn't matter. They could not be sharpened at all because the cores were broken; You can sharpen them to zero and never get a point, they just fall apart. The rest of the pens are very crumbly. You can have a very, very light hand and the cores will just fall apart. I wouldn't even think about submerging the pencil in water because it doesn't stay dry. I'm really surprised at the poor quality compared to this company's amazing wax based pens (they have become my favorite pens that I use on a daily basis). I'm afraid this box of watercolor pencils is meant for the trash can. I'm not new to pencils but I feel I need to go back to a more expensive brand that I can count on for quality. I am so disappointed. I assumed they would be of the same quality as wax crayons.
