Review on Powerbuilt 648627 Strut Spring Compressor by Joseph Neal

I bought these to help a friend replace all four upper tubes on his 1998 Mazda Protege. Enough compressors. We managed to swap all four. Mounting on the springs was a bit tricky and the top of the post got in the way of the socket. In the end I managed to press the socket in place. Overall it worked as expected. I gently moved the spring when it was compressed, but I didn't feel like it was about to burst. The locking pins gave me a little more confidence that the spring wouldn't explode in my hands.
