I had to use longer screws as recommended in the instructions for my 1997 4runner to remove the ABS ring because I had boots above and below the ABS ring (the above made the reach short). After removing the collar and press ring, I set it up to slide the axle and final collar (with my 20 ton shop cargo press at the port (no, the 12 ton doesn't have enough clearance) into this one moment it will feel like you are putting a lot of pressure and you might be a little scared trust me keep going and you will hear a loud bell then it's easy to float just use the pan to to push it out further. Please start the project like this Saturday morning as this will take most of the time. Don't forget to remove the locking ring with a set of picks and needle nose pliers after you have removed the pressing rings but before you remove the axle too!although every youtube video recommends it removing the pressure sensor is no problem just leave it on as on my 4runner model (Limited 1997 4wd) the internal seal blew the ABS sensor does not interfere with removal.
