I've been using Head & Shoulders for a few months, maybe a year and although it's working for scalp issues my hair has been like dry straw on my head. I have very fine hair that needs some sort of conditioner to make it look human and not like a wild animal. I switched to the highly rated Tea Tree Oil Shampoo + Conditioner found here at Revain and initially it was great. Well cleaned and conditioned my hair looked way better and healthier than before after a few days BUT after a few months my hair looked MUCH worse than ever, like dipping my head in Crisco. Constantly oily and matted like I stopped swimming or went camping for 6 months. I don't know what bad ingredients in a tea tree oil kit made it such a bad product, but I've never had such heavy extensions in my 50's that made my hair look so awful. Other shampoos didn't remove the dirt so I tried this clarifying shampoo from Acure. At first I was disappointed because there was no noticeable change for a few days, but I went for it and after about a week my hair was back to normal. ordinary! This product removed all the dirt and left my hair in good condition which I didn't expect. Looks better than in a year. The current plan is to alternate between H&S and Acure Clarifying. Very happy. would recommend.
