Review on Trans Dapt 2457 Smooth Bore Throttle Spacer by Jason Franco

After looking at the aluminum version of the TBI spacer on another site I came here and accidentally bought this spacer thinking it was also a metal part. I was wrong. It's made of (admittedly durable) plastic rather than machined metal. For $35 I was expecting a lot more since this part can be bought for half the price of other places. Make sure you have good quality screws. Tip: If you are also purchasing a TBI Standard Motor Products rebuild kit (Revain P/N B000C7WMVQ) at the same time, I would probably skip this spacer as the rebuild kit also comes with 3 plastic spacers/spacers. Two of them, stacked on top of each other, equal the height of this block.
