Review on 🌬️ Spectre Performance 9832 Inline Air Box: Enhance Airflow with 4" Inlet Filter! by Matthew Baltimore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Specter Integral Airbox Housing 5 " with 4 " bore

I used to mess around with the air intakes on my cars. Minor airbox modifications are usually also filtered. The first time I swapped out the airbox and all the intake manifolds. I like this option very much. It comes with a high capacity oiled cone filter and the built-in housing provides an almost straight airflow path. Also, in my car (and with a short straight run of tubing in front of the MAF sensor to eliminate air turbulence) the front of the body is directly above the radiator where the car has a built in airflow path grille. As close to "cold air" as possible with the bonus of possible airflow through the grille at high speeds. "Feeling" Do I make a difference? No, but on a 1.5 liter Honda Fit (still with the stock exhaust) I wouldn't expect the differential to be clear enough. But it certainly sounds great (lower, raspier) :) Judging by the "Avg MPG" it shows about a 1.5x increase for each of the three gas tanks after installation. I wasn't expecting it and definitely wasn't aiming for it. In theory and intuitively, he should have access to more air and cooler air, and Fit needs all the help he can get.
