Review on LOFTEK Rechargeable Portable Work Light With 7 Hour Battery, USB Ports & SOS Modes For Emergency Lighting by Austin Hampton

Wow, I'm impressed!

I bought this to replace a rechargeable Black & Decker light/drill combination that I bought years ago. I had the B & D light for at least ten years and it fit the bill perfectly for the occasional use around the house when I needed a little extra light to fix things, reprogram the thermostat, etc. That one finally quit and I bought this one to replace it. This has a super-bright beam (can't describe it any other way). The difference between the high setting and the lower setting is really difficult to discern because even at the lower setting it's till plenty bright. I bought this three months ago and it's still running strong and bright. I really can't tell how much battery life I have used on it, nor how much longer it'll last before I have to charge it, but I'm sure it'll last for many more months. I'll let others who have timed it's continuous use attest to the those details on run time. But for me, it lasts and last, whereas my old Black and Decker would have already required a few charges in the three months I've owned this one. Oh, I know the description says 15 watts: but to me it seems MUCH MUCH brighter than a plain old 15 watt light bulb.more like 75 or 100 watt bulb!

Pros
  • This portable work light is lightweight and easy to transport, making it perfect for outdoor trips, camping, and more
Cons
  • The light may not have a built-in timer or automatic shut-off to conserve battery life
