Review on ๐Ÿถ Kurgo Bench Seat Cover for Dogs: Water Resistant Pet Seat Protector with Seat Anchors, Seatbelt Openings for Cars, Trucks, SUVs - 55" or 63" Wide by Allison Carpenter

Slippery as a slip.

It looks like a great idea, but it's not. I have 2 for the minivan. Maybe this works well if your dog is small and doesn't jump or move at all. However, this is not our dog. Our dog slips when jumping on it. The bungee cord doesn't hold him to the seat, so when he jumps he slides over the seats, exposing the very seat it's supposed to protect. Then, when he adjusts while I fix the lid, his legs can't stay upright. Right now I'm trying to put a mat between him and the seat to see if that helps with jumping. Also, place a pillow with a mat between them to keep it in place when you move. The other dog isn't as active or jittery due to bad hips, so her dog doesn't look too bad. This item is most suitable for small cars. as a minivan or when the two middle seats are pushed together in an odyssey. The zippers are useless, noisy as hell and poorly placed for my car. Bungee cords are useless. The strap at the back of the seats is great. The blue-orange color is great, the fabric can repel liquids. Objects and dogs easily slide over this material. I feel like I wasted my money and a nice thick cotton fabric that isn't smooth would be a better idea.

  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Some problems
