The pottery has external damage
Due to poor packaging the jug arrived with a crack/small dent in the ceramic surface. The pot arrived in a large padded envelope, not a box. The defect is not serious enough to bother with a return, but the lack of diligence on the part of the carrier is disappointing. Also, the orange color wasn't as bright as the picture - I was hoping for a brighter orange color. The pot has a good weight and a comfortable grip. It's also the perfect size for our intended use of warming up milk for our morning latte. I don't think a defect on the outside of the pot will affect milk heating, but I'll definitely update this review if it does.
