Review on ๐Ÿ•ถ๏ธ Antec Dapper Dark Phantom DP301M: Compact Micro-ATX Gaming Case with ARGB Lighting and Tempered Glass Side Panel by Sean Franklin

Not without flaws, but holds up.

I wish I had paid more attention to this topic. The product also lacked a manual, but I was able to find a copy online. This copy was not on the Antec website. The tool-less tray sliders actually still require a Phillips head, although this is easier than a traditional hard drive installation. I bought it because after seeing the mesh front I thought it had a fan on the front without reading the fine print which is my fault. Four fan positions: Top 140mm, Rear Top 120mm, Bottom Left 120mm and Top Right 120mm. The supplied fans are very difficult to remove due to the control switches on the back of the case. Cable management isn't an issue if you're willing to use additional zip ties - in this case there were only 4, despite the 6 zip tie loops on the case. The finish is what I expected from a $35 case, but it's still an improvement over what I had before, so I won't try to send it back. On the plus side, there's no RGB or transparent sidebar - my own ADHD thanks me for that. Plus, the CD slots are a godsend for those who love front-facing peripherals like extra USB ports. Trying to find another case with a side fan over the GPU, CD trays, cable management, and an opaque side panel wasn't worth the hassle.
