1. Checking warranty status at HITACHI, this hard drive is NOT under warranty (also shows as invalid serial number)2. Described as new, drive manufacture date is JANUARY 2011. Well I just bought a 7 year old 160GB drive with no warranty; I am unsatisfied with my purchase. Also note that in the image, the bottom left corner of the disk, where the date of manufacture should be, has been photoshopped out of the image. Designation.
