I purchased a 5w + 5w version of this amp for use with a 32" LCD TV and a pair of 8 ohm unpowered bookshelf speakers. It is powered by the TV's USB port. The input is connected to the headphone output of the TV. As a result, the sound is much better than from the TV's built-in speakers. I was surprised at how loud the speakers can be on this setting. Normal viewing is at about 1/4 volume, but even at full volume the sound doesn't distort much. One star deducted due to lack of EMI protection. Keep it away from electromagnetic interference. Sources or use a shielded project box. I rated it as "easy to install" due to the standard 3.5mm stereo jack and screw terminals for power and speakers. Visit the company's website.
