When my corded vacuum recently died (it was quite old) I started looking for a cordless version. The main problem was that most good Dyson & Co. products were very expensive. The ones I liked were $600+. Are you kidding? Anyway, I finally stumbled across this one and took the plunge, mostly because the price was right and I realized how bad it could be? I was positively surprised. The suction power is strong. I have worked on low pile carpet and hardwood and it has worked well on both. The front is rotatable, so I can get into hard-to-reach places like the TV stand, the sofa, or the narrow space between the sofa and the wall. It's pretty easy. My wife said it could be lighter but I am assuming the strong motor puts some weight on it. It has two power modes. the one who is stronger. Both work fine. I didn't time it but I was able to clean my entire two pack battery and the battery didn't give up. It also comes with a wall bracket to hang it on the wall although I didn't bother. I just put it in the closet and it stays in place. Overall I think it's great value for money and I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an efficient cordless vacuum for home use.
