My original 04 Chevy 2500hd stopped working, removed and installed this in 10-15 minutes, it worked straight away. You feel a well made actuator in your hands, I was shocked when I opened the box. It's not exactly identical to the original (I was missing the parental lock pin), but I didn't care, and for the price of $30 compared to over $100 in most places, I'd buy again if needed.
