It works, but the display is the other way around.
It looks like the backlight and indicator LEDs are swapped. With this switch, the LED strip is the backlight (which doesn't tell you what it is at night) and the beep icon is the indicator LED (the switch is on). I found another provider with a switch that says "Beep". where it has a straight LED strip. The horn icon still serves as an indicator, but at least I can identify the switch at night.
