Review on πŸ“¦ NavePoint 12U Wall Mount Server Cabinet Network Enclosure with Locks and Fan - Consumer Series by Jack Herrera

Good solution for centralizing your network components

I have used NavePoint 12U not only for my internet modem and switches but also for my home video surveillance system. Assembly was easy, only a screwdriver was required as the cabinet uses 16 screws and jam nuts that snap into the cabinet frames. The front and rear rack frames fit into the top and bottom, and the addition of doors and side panels was the latest. The cabinet comes with 10 screws and jam nuts for mounting shelves or network components inside the cabinet. No shelves were included with this cabinet model. The side panels and front door are protected by a lock and key, and the keys fit in each of the locks. The case sports a single 120mm fan at the top, which is noisy but does a great job of dissipating heat. The only complaint I have is that the cabinet is not square once assembled. That way, the side panels and front door will rub against the openings a little, and the lock bolts won't turn fully because the strut frame is in the way. A little tweaking with pliers solved the problems with the lock. The cabinet was packaged very well as the manufacturer protected the glass door by sandwiching it between the panels and frame. Almost all the tension nuts in the frames fell out during transport and should remain in the bags with the rest of the equipment. Overall I recommend this for home use if you want to give your DIY network a professional look.
