I don't have a picture of the trunk of the car (forgot all about it, damn it) but we have this trunk for a 2600 mile trip (round trip) right across country used. It was mounted on the roof of our Toyota Highlander (with roof rack) and it was AMAZING. Lil 4.5 days out of 8 of our trip and we had no humidity issues at all. It was easy to install, held a ton of stuff, and was secure enough that we felt comfortable without adding extra bungee cords (we've ALWAYS done that with other carriers in the past). We cannot recommend this carrier enough. We are very impressed and look forward to having it for future trips.
