This is NOT safe! He comes back! Received this today and was very disappointed as to why the company would sell a product with sharp metal edges. The leaves on the branch have sharp metal edges. If a parrot jumps on it, it can hurt itself. The appeal of this item encourages bird owners to buy it and they still end up in a cage. They see no danger in this and do not expose their birds to any risk of injury. That is possible. Parrots sometimes land hard and can cut themselves on one of the sharpest leaf edges on the perch. The needle stuck my finger and it's so sharp. I want these companies to stop selling dangerous bird toys and perches. If the parrot gets hurt or dies, they come for THIS COMPANY! I'm not endangering my birds, but I'll buy something similar. These bird owners should think twice about the safety of their pet birds. Buying the wrong perches or toys for your birds can be dangerous. Beware of this perch
