I took a chance and ordered a size up so she could wear it for a few years. The width is a little big, but she can still wear it now. This is a beautiful light blue color that most little girls will love. Yes, it's a little more than other brands, but in my experience other budget brands don't have an inner lining and become almost see-through after a few washes. This leotard is lined, soft and very I was so pleased with the quality of the leotard that I even ordered a Sansha skirt to go with it for my daughter to wear to her ballet/tap class. I was tired of buying cheap swimsuits that ended up costing a lot of money because they didn't last as long. As she grew up and was ready for a larger size, I chose quality over quantity, and I'm so glad I did. jaycee
