I did a lot of research before deciding on an entry-level telescope. I wanted something you could take out of town and put together quickly. I know nothing about telescopes and how to use them. It was very easy to assemble. It took 10-15 minutes. It comes with a tripod, backpack and software to help you find everything you need in the sky. There is also a phone app. The only thing I would do differently would be to buy a larger aperture lens. The larger the opening, the more light gets in and you can see more things. That's 70mm. I would try to get 100mm or more.
