I am disappointed that the software can only be installed on Windows 10. I could not use the telescope but have to return it. Why is it so difficult to make software compatible with other versions of Windows?

I'm a real beginner and got the setup relatively quickly. I didn't play around with the star software as basically I just wanted to capture the different phases of the moon. It is very easy to pack and carry, which was very convenient for me. I couldn't figure out the phone mount, but I honestly didn't read that part of the guide and just took a few shots while holding the phone's camera through the eyepiece.

I did a lot of research before deciding on an entry-level telescope. I wanted something you could take out of town and put together quickly. I know nothing about telescopes and how to use them. It was very easy to assemble. It took 10-15 minutes. It comes with a tripod, backpack and software to help you find everything you need in the sky. This is a really cool little telescope, I haven't had a chance to stargaze with it yet but there are a few obstacles. First, be prepared to invest in the best tripod. The tripod that comes with this scope is rubbish, flimsy and seems very unreliable for any type of long-range viewing. Overall this is a great telescope for beginners. The fact that it comes with its own backpack is a plus. It was very easy to assemble and I could see the full moon well. The software is amazing and easy to use. My Complaints: The tripod is NOT stable and too short to be useful (mine is 5ft 7in). The telescope is excellent. Super light and easy to use. I upgraded my spotting scope to laser. The tripod is light but not very strong. When I try to lock it it always shifts because the telescope is too heavy for it. So I will most likely buy a better tripod. The iPhone mount is also useless because it is heavier than the scope.
