This is a really cool little telescope, I haven't had a chance to stargaze with it yet but there are a few obstacles. First, be prepared to invest in the best tripod. The tripod that comes with this scope is rubbish, flimsy and seems very unreliable for any type of long-range viewing. The reason I'm not returning it is that it will be great for more local purposes, it will be very good for wildlife photography. or look at the sea, you still need a better tripod, even with completely shortened legs the rifle scope is still not stable. The iPhone app is a huge plus and one of the reasons I decided not to return it.
