The telescope is excellent. Super light and easy to use. I upgraded my spotting scope to laser. The tripod is light but not very strong. When I try to lock it it always shifts because the telescope is too heavy for it. So I will most likely buy a better tripod. The iPhone mount is also useless because it is heavier than the scope. Therefore, it is not possible to freeze the image again after finding it in the focus area. Therefore, some upgrades are required to use the telescope. But it's a great option for beginners. I tried another Celestron that is a bit more advanced. This made searching and focusing much easier and smoother. But the thing was bulky and heavy. So I prefer this one simply for its compactness and ease of use. The price is aligned to another, more expensive, after add-ons.
