I was looking for something that could be wrapped around the ends of a couple of kayaks and secured in the back of my truck on long trips. Also, I wanted something that was a little easier to put on and take off than tying rope, so I decided to give this product a try. flat polyester straps for attachment. The spacing between each strap seems to be about 10 inches, so I wouldn't use it to tie small items that might slip through the gaps. This net does its job decently enough. The straps are sewn nice and secure and it feels like I can use them to hold anything. It seems like a great solution to my three kayak problem, although the ends of the kayaks slide through the net a little further than I'd like. The only criticism of the product is that no mounting material is included. Network. You only get one net and there is only one loop of webbing at the end of each strap. This gives you the freedom to use any device you want to protect. However, if you are looking for a full mesh solution, this will not help you. I've found that threading some elastic cord through the loops seems good enough to hold my kayaks in place when lying on the open hitch.
