I've had to make black beeswax candles and hate messing around with the typical colored chips (usually colored wax and mixing the wax can go wrong). I couldn't find my own black pigment and didn't need other colors so I went with the RBY set. Real RBY pigments turn black when mixed and it's awesome! I mixed equal parts - literally a pinch of each, just a little far - of each and got a rich black. I used yellow beeswax as a base but I tried my white beeswax and it worked really well. I will buy more of this pigment and maybe even try their other colors. The only downside is that the powder can be a bit messy as the bottles are tiny, but I work with dyes and paints a lot so this isn't a problem. me.
