I used a 6" 1/4" extension to replace the valve seal on my bathroom faucet with my 1/2" ratchet wrench and 1/2 adapter through 1 to remove and replace /4. I couldn't get to the gasket with the 1/4" screwdriver (no ratchet) because it was too short. I consider the other 2 extensions as a bonus.
