Keep moving the switch. I do not recommend.

I bought this to push my derailleur further to fit a 10 speed 42 tooth cassette. Due to the design of all wolf links this will not work very well. The problem with them is that instead of moving the derailleur farther and back to match the original derailleur mount, they move the derailleur farther away from the wheel. This forces you to adjust the bottom stop further in the wheel to get to the first small gear, and it also causes the derailleur to now have to go further to get to the highest gear in the cassette. I made it, but my shifts were terrible. I would simply not recommend this link period. A $10 link from eBay that repositions the derailleur in line with the dropout bracket was the best solution I found. The eBay links kept my original shift smoothness and didn't force the shifter to pop out too far to get to big gear. These wolf links are overpriced for what they are and they gave me more of a headache trying to get them to work. They claim to work better with Shimano derailleurs, but honestly I don't see how that would be any better. The derailleur still moves OUTSIDE and away from the wheel with these wolf links, regardless of derailleur brand. Look at the picture and the video. Note that the derailleur is further from the dropout than the stock bracket. This is bad.
