A great budget option to maximize control over your derailleur.

High quality alloy, finish and finish as with all Wolf Tooth products. This allows me to use 1x with a 10-42 cassette with my Ultegra RX rear derailleur. Keep in mind that while this allows you to use a larger maximum gear than the derailleur manufacturer specifies and still maintain a decent chain wrap, it does not increase the actual capacity of the mech chain dictated by the cage. Length. I'm pretty sure my setup voided the RD warranty, but the gearing choices are worth it.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Expensive

Works well on a properly tuned gearbox

not installed. spins like shit. Why? because like most things, you can't just screw it on and go. set limits and b voltage after installation. was also upsized from 11-32 to 11-40 on a gravel bike, so I installed a new chain at the same time. It's way too long for the person who posted a video here about a bad derailleur on this bike. this affects the operation of the switch. Resize this chain properly, then reinstall the B tensioner bolt. Tip: With the right chain size, the top wheel is closer

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No automatic

Works well with Ultegra RX800 shifters and cassette 11-40

Uses a Road Link DM with an Ultegra RD-RX800 rear derailleur (the one with the clutch) to shift on an 11-40 cassette, greatly improved overall performance. To be clear, an RX800 rear derailleur with a medium basket can already drive 40 teeth with careful adjustment of screw b, but the shifting efficiency for the lower gears is not optimal due to the lower chain winding. I also found it to be quite sensitive to small differences in cable tension, which made fine-tuning a bit difficult. maxed out

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Great little detail

I picked up an Ultegra R8000 to try and run a 40t cassette without resorting to "bandages" like a regular roadlink or having to modify the cable pull to to use a mountain derailleur. It covered 40t even without maxing out the factory B propeller, and it shifted surprisingly well with over 2 inches of free chain on the smaller cogs. The first thing I notice when tightening the bolts is without touching bolt B where I had it, it now has about as much free chain in 40t as it previously had in 11t!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Useless features

Keep moving the switch. I do not recommend.

I bought this to push my derailleur further to fit a 10 speed 42 tooth cassette. Due to the design of all wolf links this will not work very well. The problem with them is that instead of moving the derailleur farther and back to match the original derailleur mount, they move the derailleur farther away from the wheel. This forces you to adjust the bottom stop further in the wheel to get to the first small gear, and it also causes the derailleur to now have to go further to get to the highest…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Faulty
