Review on 🚴 Upgraded Wolf Tooth Components Roadlink DM for Shimano R8000/R9100, Compatible with 11-36/11-42t Cassettes by Bennie Boss

I picked up an Ultegra R8000 to try and run a 40t cassette without resorting to "bandages" like a regular roadlink or having to modify the cable pull to to use a mountain derailleur. It covered 40t even without maxing out the factory B propeller, and it shifted surprisingly well with over 2 inches of free chain on the smaller cogs. The first thing I notice when tightening the bolts is without touching bolt B where I had it, it now has about as much free chain in 40t as it previously had in 11t! , and it probably has 2 more teeth wrapped in the larger cog, and the free chain in the smaller gears could be 25% more than a normal road cassette, not 3-4 times more. Like everything else I've gotten from Wolf Tooth, it looks and feels good. It's not super cheap, but it's a relatively low volume, made in the USA, and I don't think the price is high considering that. Worth the price, let's say a halfway decent chain, IMHO.
