After reading that others have used these brushes successfully for chalk paint I decided to invest in them rather than the 'cheap' ones "Brushes from the hardware store. I had to stick to the hardware store variant. My project ended up having brush bristles all over it and I had to go back and pull them out and repaint the area. This made the process even more tedious than it is. I haven't used them for wax yet. I'm waiting for another brush to put the final coat of chalk paint on my project before waxing because I just can't get a third coat of paint with this brush. If it works well for wax, I believe it's worth buying for many. I was just looking forward to a set of two cheap brushes to use for painting and waxing. Unfortunately it didn't work as I had hoped.
