There are only 2 digits on the display to show 2 digits

VERY STUPID THERMOMETRY well I'm also a mannequin who bought it! I was in a hurry when I ordered this and took my time to really understand that this thermometer can ONLY be used to measure temperatures BELOW 100°C! IE; 99° FI actually wanted to use this in my car to see how hot it gets in the Texas sun. Well, the biggest problem is that this thermometer can ONLY DISPLAY 2 DIGITS. Here in central Texas, the thermometer OUTSIDE the car is in the 3 digits outdoors quite often. So I already knew that more than 100° had to be entered in my car. This thermometer absolutely will NOT do that. When I looked at it after being in my car all day it just showed this weird double zero type character which isn't a real number because it can't tell me it was over 99°. . Also, it says it keeps track of the last known highest and last known lowest recorded temperatures. Type. The problem is, because it's hotter than 99°, the last measured temperature now always has these strange signs that mean nothing. This thermometer is a wash for me. I should have looked at how many numbers it would show before buying, my fault. Although I'm not sure if the description mentions this feature? I just NEVER expected any digital thermometer to have room for ONLY 2 digits! How stupid! What a waste of technology! I bet he COULD take the required high temperature reading, but he just can't tell me what the reading was. They really should have made room for the third digit. I mean sir. Really a waste of technology. And that's why I only give 1 star. Battery life is good, and it still works months later, even after sitting in at least 120°F day after day. Yes, I left it in the car anyway. Easy to use? no Not really. Because the peculiarity is that allegedly the recording of the last temperature was always the same, both high and low. What is the probability that my car has ALWAYS had the SAME lowest temperature every single day for a month?! Temperatures in Texas swing back and forth like a pendulum, sometimes daily. And now, in December, it has gotten cold and the thermometer still shows 84° as the lowest temperature! I think no. I think in order for it to record the last high and low temperatures it also needs to tell you the date it was. recorded, or AT LEAST the time it was recorded. So you know exactly WHEN a certain temperature was actually measured. Hell, maybe he just tells me the same thing every day whether it's true or not - who knows?! In general I am very disappointed. both in itself and in the thermometer. Purchase at your own risk.
