Review on TICONN Automatic Stripper Electrician Stripping by Thomas Drew

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Wire Stripper Works Fine *Most* of the Time

Overview: **TICONN Auto Wire Stripper 3-in-1 Pliers Crimping Pliers Electrician's Tool for Stripping, Cutting, and Crimping 24-12 AWG (Red) Wires* * I'm renovating these kitchen and recently did a little rewiring for lights and outlets. When I first used these wire strippers I was really impressed - they pulled the 12 gauge wire I was working with instantly and didn't have to be twisted around the wire like traditional wire strippers. Unfortunately, after a little work, stripping became less reliable and sometimes I ended up with a snapped wire jacket instead of stripping it properly. I've usually been able to adjust the pressure on the tool and get it working again, but it's still only about 80% reliable. Cutter and crimping tool work great, but this tool is really for stripping and that didn't work. it was perfect. Still a huge improvement over regular strippers when they work, I just wish I could rely on them completely. The price is certainly very reasonable, only $17.
