TICONN Automatic Stripper Electrician Stripping Review

I didn't know there was such a thing as this tool. It's as cool as it works. Simply adjust the plastic connector to the length you wish to strip, squeeze the two handles together and you're done! It's really funny how easy it is to use compared to the standard stripping tool set. It also includes a crimping area in the handle to crimp your connectors after stripping. I'm so glad I have this tool. Highly recommended!

Since I switched to "automatic" wire strippers I've gotten a lot faster. One tool fits all wire sizes. If you are working with very thin wire there is a tension knob so you don't bite into it. I find they work on anything including the Romex outer shell for internal or external wiring. I highly recommend practicing on a useless wire a few times. I tried 18 gauge wire and found it cut through the wire the first few times. I'm slowing down and I think this allows the tool to do its job properly. Maybe it's just because it's brand new and I've never used new ones and they need to be hacked to work properly.
