This is a nice little kit but they could have included a few more things to make it a real starter kit for beginners. I'll be happy to pay the difference. The kit does not include: glass bottles that you can fill kombucha into when it is ready; any tea leaves to brew the desired tea (do not use Earl Grey, herbal or fruit teas); Pictures of healthy SCOBY (if you've never seen it, it looks pretty weird - it would save me hours of research online); or how should the ph value of the finished kombucha be. However, this is a good set and SCOBY is quite large compared to another product I have purchased. Totally worth the money but I wouldn't call it a true beginner's kit)
