Review on 🔌 Fluke Networks PTNX2 Pocket Tester: Compact and High-Performance Testing Solution by Paul Dobson

The NX2 Pocket Toner is well built and performs exactly as advertised. The audio is strong and the test functions work well. AAA battery is included and easy to replace. Before purchasing I went through the provided comparisons of the different kits and came to the conclusion that the small body cable kit is perfect for my needs. I also looked in the manual and saw that there was an optional horn detector (DTD) which I figured I'd buy later when the base kit works well. Bad idea. The DTD is no longer sold separately. You can get it with the deluxe kit for $30 more than the cable kit along with other adapters you may or may not need. or you can purchase the ADAP-PTNX-KIT for an additional $50 which duplicates some cable kit adapters and adds others. I contacted Fluke regarding this and they responded quickly but confirmed that the DTD is no longer sold separately. on Fluke! While your reputation for quality is still strong, your prices are high. Now bundle additional parts for more profit.
