After I put it to the test, this product proved to be too finicky and inconsistent in its readings. Although it is small and portable, its unreliability makes it a waste of money.

The NX2 Pocket Toner is well built and performs exactly as advertised. The audio is strong and the test functions work well. AAA battery is included and easy to replace. Happy with the purchase. I've used it to sort through the messy mess of cables left over from DirecTV, Dish, Comcast, and AT&T installers over the years. It won't replace traditional toner if you have a lot of unfamiliar coaxial cables that need to be identified, but it works well if you only have a small handful.
