I had an issue with the vaporizer system that caused the MIL to turn on. I forgot the OBD code but it pointed to the evaporator. It turned out that the factory purge control valve was leaking a bit. Replacing with this one fixed the problem as this one doesn't leak. Driven about 10,000 km since replacement and no problems since. This thing is held on by about a screw or two, or maybe it was something like a hose clamp. I think it was some kind of collar. There are two vacuum hoses and an electrical connector, which can be a bit tight. It was right on the engine and took less than ten minutes to swap out with a screwdriver. The component came in packaging that looked like the OEM packaging I'd seen before, so it's either a replica so excellent it might as well be the original, or the original itself. I choose the latter, because the price corresponds to the manufacturer's suggested retail price for this item.
