This is a great tool for training your pet, it calmed my dog down a bit. I use it not only for running on the road but also to stay calm around the house when he gets to the roadie. Links are easy enough to remove following the instructions, but the simplicity of the procedure is completely different! Unless you have extremely high muscular strength, you cannot turn these connections on or off. You have to pinch the ends to make it fit the space properly, and the metal is so thick it barely moves. I probably need a smaller collar for my dog and hope I don't have this problem with a smaller chain. But for anyone who needs this size I would recommend getting a thinner metal link training collar.
